Today, GO Public Schools is releasing a new set of California School Dashboard resources designed to help families and community members better understand what the data is showing — and how it connects to what they already know about their schools and communities.
The California School Dashboard offers an important snapshot of student learning and system performance. Our goal with these new resources is to help families move beyond the colors and indicators to make sense of what the data reflects about progress, challenges, and opportunities for action.
What’s new today:
- Fresno Dashboard Guide that walks families through local Dashboard results alongside the long-term trends lifted up in our Fresno Kids First student outcomes report
- A new statewide Dashboard report that looks across California to identify systemwide patterns — including where outcomes are improving, where challenges persist, and where accountability and support systems must do more
- New pages focused on student progress over time, adding context to performance by showing how outcomes are changing, not just where they land in a single year
