We’re excited to share the pilot launch of a new tool designed to bring greater transparency and accessibility to our local education system: GO’s Board of Education Trustee Vote Tracker!
This is the start of something new to accompany our monthly Board of Education Watch. With this initial rollout, we’re focusing on the areas most closely aligned with our active policy campaigns.
We believe that informed communities are empowered communities. By making movements and votes of the board easier to track and interpret, this tool aims to offer meaningful insights into how board members are shaping the future of our schools.
This rollout is just the beginning. As a pilot, it’s designed to learn from and grow with your feedback. Our hope is that this tool becomes a resource that helps increase transparency on board processes, empowers engagement, and ultimately brings more voices into the conversation around public education.
