Are you ready to take your advocacy to the next level? We’re excited to invite you to join our upcoming Family Leaders Program, where together, we’ll empower you to create meaningful change within your community.
This program is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow advocates across the state, share experiences, and build a network of support. Whether you’re new to advocacy or have some experience, there’s something for everyone in our Family Leaders Program.
Here’s what you can expect from our virtual sessions, running from Monday evenings, 5-7pm, September 16th through October 21st:
- Orientation – September 16th
- School Governance and Budget – September 23rd
- Quality Education and Data – September 30th
- Organizing and Advocacy – October 7th
- Relationship Building – October 14th
- Putting Skills into Action – October 21st
All sessions will be conducted online from 5PM to 7PM, making it convenient for you to participate from the comfort of your home.
Our Program is designed to ensure that:
- Families like yours have the knowledge and tools to influence educational systems and policies effectively.
- You feel empowered to take an active role in your child’s education journey.
- More families step into leadership roles within schools, districts, and the broader community, including positions on SSCs, PTAs, and even running for school boards.
