BREAKING NEWS: FUSD Board votes for equitable expansion of dual enrollment!
The Fresno Unified Board of Trustees voted to adopt a resolution in support of the equitable expansion of dual enrollment offerings for our students!
In 2021, parent leaders from our Dual Enrollment Action Team worked alongside leaders from Fresno Unified and Fresno City College to co-create this dual enrollment resolution and ensure family voice helped inform and align the six priorities it outlines. You started this advocacy journey with us almost two years ago. You too learned with us as we shared findings from our dual enrollment research meetings with experts in the field; and you too supported our Dual Enrollment Action Team’s call for more Fresno students to have access to dual enrollment courses and for Fresno Unified to improve the information provided about these opportunities.
The passage of this resolution is our win. We thank you for your partnership, and we look forward to sharing what’s next for this work and how you can continue to be involved.
